A while went by as we got to know each other & trust each other(or so I thought).She was involved in the charity I was with & my friend & I were asked if we would do a valentine disco as a fundraiser.
So we all turned up at the venue(about a dozen of us from the charity),to do the disco complete with games & a raffle.A fun night for all!None of our friends knew that the witch & I were an item,although some of them had an idea.So the night went well & as we came near the end of the disco my friend decided to put Atlantic Stars "Secret Lovers" on as the last record & dedicate it to the both of us!
So our "secret" was out.Everybody knew now,& everybody seemed to be happy for us. People were saying how I would be"good for her".So we were now official.We could do anything & go anywhere we wanted.We both felt good about the situation as we became even closer than ever.The weeks went by & I knew Would have to tell here that I was not "experienced".
Going back in time a bit now.At senior school I always seemed to attract older girls & I suppose this put me off a bit.I remember at the age of 11 when I was in the park opposite the house I lived in,a girl asked Me out.When I said no thanks because she was too old for me ,she asked me how old I was,when I told her she said she was sorry as she thought I was about 14.She was 16.Same time as this a friend of mine wanted to double date.He was a year older than me but I agreed.When we met the two girls my friend told me they were 13 so we had to pretend we were the same age.Later the girl I was with wanted to get intimate & I didn't.So I suppose this put me off too.
So fast forward to 18.Me & my transit van.Sat there listening to the radio & wondering when I was going to lose my virginity.That's it.Ive decided.The next girl that's takes an interest in me I will sleep with.Sorted!
It was at that time that a report came on the radio about a new sexual decease called aids.Shocked at what I had heard I decided there & then to save myself for a few years.Say until I was 21.Then Ill be one of only a few people who were safe to have sex with.What a plan!
Now its my 21st birthday & I have invited a girl who Ive known for a long time.She has the same birthday as me as well & she will be 18 on the same day.We went round everybody together & by the end of the night we were going out with each other.Now that's what I call a 21st.Needless to say,I didn't make the most of it & to this day I don't know why I didn't sleep with her,she was gorgeous.So we only lasted a few months.She said I wasn't mature enough.Probably my fault then.
So ,hopefully the above few paras might help to explain(or not),why at 23 I was still a virgin.
I told her my situation & she said she wasn't bothered as everyone has to start somewhere.So sex life here we come!
